1s progress in cup

The first and second teams met in their first competitive fixture of the semester in the quarter final of the Scottish Cup. In a competitive game the 1s edged it 2-0 at half time after 2 goals from Jen Brown, who is currently the first teams top goal scorer. In the second half the 2s were pushing to find a way back in to the game, however the 1s back line remained strong making few mistakes making it hard to find a way through. After hitting the post twice, Jen finally sealed off her hattrick late in the second half to make it 3-0. It was great to also have 5 semester 2 exchange students make their EUWAFC debut!

The 1s progress to the semi finals, and will look to continue their cup run and retain the title this season.
