Edi Uni Thistle was formed in 2022 as part of EUWAFC's partnership with Boroughmuir Thistle FC. Thistle competes in SWFL East and is open to non-university players!

Whilst Thistle is mostly comprised of players from our University squads, our team also contains alumni and players entirely unaffiliated with Edinburgh University.

As Thistle is part of SWFL East we play our games on Sundays against teams from all across East Scotland. This makes Thistle an excellent option for players who can't commit to playing on a Wednesday with our competitive teams but still wish to play competitive football.
