Futsal is an indoor version of football. Only less players on the pitch and played with a heavier ball.

Futsal is very much an up-and-coming sport, and EUWAFC established two teams in 2015 for the 2015/16 season. EUWAFC entered the two new teams into the league where they play against other local Universities in a league format over two weekends. The First team now plays in the Premier North League, while the Second Team in the Scottish 1A. In 2018 we were invited to play in the PCU Games in Antwerp, where we ended up beating teams from universities of a variety of countries to win the trophy.

Since starting Futsal, EUWAFC have become the 2016 British Futsal Champions, 2018 PCU Games Womens' Futsal Champions, 2019 British Futsal Championship Silver medal, 2019 PCU Games Bronze Medalists and achieved 2019 second place in our first season of the BUCS Premier North League.

EUWAFC had the honour to play at the English FA's prestigious national training academy, St George's Park and to be the first Scottish University to win a British Futsal title.

Our Second team also had a very successful 2018/19 season in the Scottish 1A coming in second after beating Dundee 15-0 and Stirling 2s 11-1. In the British Futsal Cup they also found success by beating Nottingham 9-0  and Manchester 13-5!
