Alumni Day!

Everyone's favourite day of the year. Despite a shortage of kit, a lot of hail, and some ruined cakes the day was still a great success!!

A strong alumni team started well and go close to scoring in the opening 10 minutes with a shot just wide by goalkeeper turned Striker Jen Currie. Current players so far not able to penetrate the Lucy Stanton led defense. Alumni continue to put shot in after shot, even brining on ringer Beth MacLeod with her fancy footwork, but to no prevail.

Half Time 0-0!

Keeper Kayla starting the second half how she finished the first one with unbelievable saves!!! Some goal line clearances by defenders and even the crossbar helped multiple times save the score.

Finally the current team gets their chance with Izzy hitting a shot barely over the bar after some great skill work by Krissy. Hannah Dryden also with a one-on-one with the Alumni keeper but unable to get that final product.

The game ends 0-0 after great battles by both teams. "No goals but almost every weather condition possible".
