Semester Round up- the 4s!

It’s our first year of a 4th team at EUWAFC, so it was a big year for the club. With expectations running high, Coach Sean worked hard to make this a reality. Our 4th team has a range of players experience from Rec or some who are completely new to football, trying out 11- aside as well as girls with a bit more experience wanting a more relaxed atmosphere. Their Thursday practises are legendary with loud music played and silky new skills taught each week.

The first game of the season was a tough battle against the Medics. It was great to see many members of the club down supporting the game and many girls in their first 11-aside match!

The girls built on this learning experience with more training which showed in their second match of the season against the Vets. They battled hard and the thrilling match ended in a hard-fought 1-1 draw, after a powerful strike from Jennifer.

We can’t wait to be entertained more by these girls next semester and see them play more matches! <3
