EUWAFC the Best Represented University at Scottish Student Sport

Congratulations to Izzy Coppel, Margaux Durand-Watson, Kim Guthrie, Kristina Kim and Beth Macleod who were selected for the SSS Women's Football National Squad 2018/19. Further congratulations to EUWAFC first team coach Mike Ross who was Head Coach of the squad and to Alumni/Coach Florence Haines who was SSS Team Manager.

The 5 played in the Home Nations Tournament from the 15th -17th April 2019, where they helped the squad to become the 2019 Home Nations Winners. The first game versus Wales ended 3-3 in normal time with Scotland taking the win in penalties to make it 4-3. This included penalties scored by EUWAFC players Kim Guthrie and Beth Macleod! In the second game, special mention must go to our very own Kristina Kim who scored the 1-0 winner versus England to take the overall victory.

Kristina Kim was also voted by players and staff as the Scottish Student Women's National Team Player of the Tournament, congratulations to her!
