Information based on the 31 July 2020 update from BUCS
Will there be fixtures for the 2020-2021 season?
Yes, it is BUCS’s intention to have fixtures. These league fixtures are due to begin in Semester 2, running between January and April 2021.
BUCS is also exploring the possibility for 'Return to Play' in Semester 1. This possibility would be an 'opt-in' competition between October and the Christmas break, which would be run on a more flexible basis and work externally to the league.
What will training look like for 2020-2021?
EUWAFC has already begun to train twice-per-week again in accordance with the guidelines from the Scottish Government, Scottish Football Association and University of Edinburgh Sports Union. EUWAFC has a COVID Coordinator and Officers, who are tasked to staying up-to-date with the latest guidelines and precautionary measures.
